About Cape Barrier Pest Control

Cape Barrier Pest Control is a locally owned and operated pest management company that looks after homes, businesses, farms and properties throughout the West Coast region of the Western Cape.

Eugene van Loggerenberg founded the business with a clear idea of how it should run: honest, transparent service, solutions tailored to each property, professionalism and integrity, and lasting relationships within the West Coast community. He remains actively involved in every job, with specialised training in modern pest control techniques and a focus on practical, effective solutions.

His philosophy is simple: do the job properly, do it safely, do it once.

How we work

Every effective treatment begins with a thorough inspection. We do not apply generic treatments; we first identify the root cause of the problem. No two properties are the same, so after the inspection we develop a tailored treatment plan. That customised approach increases effectiveness while keeping unnecessary chemical use to a minimum.

We prioritise health, safety and environmental responsibility, using industry-approved products and application techniques with families and pets in mind. For businesses we offer scheduled inspections and monitoring programmes. For homeowners we recommend seasonal preventative treatments, particularly in coastal West Coast areas where pest activity rises and falls with the weather.
